The authors would like to draw attention to an error in the following article.

Teasdale KE, Conigrave KM, Kiel KA, Freeburn B, Long G, Becker K. Improving services for prevention and treatment of substance misuse for Aboriginal communities in a Sydney Area Health Service. Drug Alcohol Rev 2008;27:152–9.

The error is on page 153. The data cited from reference [15] should read (n = 95) and not (n = 995). The sentence should therefore read as follows:

“… Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander illegal drug users (n = 95) in the Australian Capital Territory also reported that they would prefer Aboriginal staff to be involved in their care [15]”

[15] Dance P, Tongs J, Guthrie J, et al.‘I want to be heard’. An analysis of needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander illegal drug users in the ACT and region for treatment and other services. Canberra: National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, 2004.

The authors apologise for the error and any inconvenience caused.
