The authors regret that the following error appeared in their article: in the text on pages 137 and 139 and in Figure 3 on page 137 the tremolite asbestos NOAEL for mesothelioma should have been reported as 0.5–2.6 f/cc-years (i.e., 0.06 × 8.6 f/cc-years = 0.516 f/cc-years and 0.06 × 44 f/cc-years = 2.64 f/cc-years).

The revised Figure 3 is as follows:
