Kelly Lackie

Dr. Kelly Lackie is the Associate Director of Simulation-based Education & Interprofessional Education and Assistant Professor, School of Nursing, Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada. Dr. Lackie’s research is situated in the discipline of IPECP.  Dr. Lackie sits on the Steering Committee and co-leads the Knowledge Exchange Working Group of InterprofessionalResearch.Global, the Global Network for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Research.

Ghaidaa Najjar

Dr. Ghaidaa Najjar has a PharmD (University of Michigan) and has been a community pharmacist practitioner for more than 20 years. Dr. Najjar completed a PhD in Higher Education Administration with interests in health sciences educational research. Currently, Dr. Najjar is a post-Doctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan Center of Interprofessional Education. Dr. Najjar is an active member of multiple IPE committees and workgroups at the University of Michigan.

Alla El-Awaisi

Dr. Alla El-Awaisi is currently the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Pharmacy and QU Health Chair of the Interprofessional Education program. Dr El-Awaisa received her Master of Pharmacy degree from Strathclyde University in Glasgow (UK), MSc in Prescribing Science from the Robert Gordon University (UK) and PhD in Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice from the Robert Gordon University (UK). Her research expertise lies in interprofessional education and collaborative practice, patient safety, medical and pharmacy education.

Jody Frost

Dr. Jody Frost is the President, National Academies of Practice (NAP), USA. Dr Frost’s areas of scholarship focus on interprofessional professionalism (IPP), development and psychometric testing of performance-based assessments, leadership and clinical educator development and training programs, and competency-based education. She facilitates opportunities for distinguished healthcare members to advocate for and engage in interprofessional practice, scholarship, and public policy as President of NAP.

Chris Green

Dr. Chris Green is the Programme Director for Medical and Clinical Education at the University of Essex, UK.  Dr. Green has led several educational and research projects in interprofessional education and is an associate editor of the Journal of Interprofessional Care.

Sylvia Langlois

Ms. Sylvia Langlois is the Faculty Lead – IPE Curriculum and Scholarship for the Centre of Interprofessional Education and an Associate Professor, Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Her work addresses the development of collaborative competencies, including the pedagogic approaches, assessment, and evaluation of curricula.

Dean Lising

Mr. Dean Lising is the Team-Based Practice and Education Lead at the Centre for IPE, University of Toronto (UT)/UHN, Lecturer, Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Medicine, UT.  He leads team-based care, professional and faculty development, IPE student curriculum programs at the University of Toronto and Toronto Academic Health Science Network.  He collaborates with clinicians, teams, organizations to support interprofessional competency and models of care integration.

Andrea L. Pfeifle

Dr. Andrea Pfeifle is Associate Vice Chancellor for Interprofessional Practice and Education and Professor of Family Medicine at the Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center. She is also Chair of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative and Chair of the National Academies of Practice Physical Therapy Academy.  Her work focuses on interprofessional education to prepare the current and future work force for collaboration across professions, disciplines, and sectors to improve health and health care for individuals, populations, and communities.

Helena Ward

Dr. Helena Ward is a microbiologist who gained her PhD on Vibrio cholerae from the University of Adelaide, South Australia. She has post-doctoral experience in microbiology and molecular biology research and in the biotechnology industry. Helena is currently a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at The University of Adelaide focusing on curriculum development and assessment design.  Her research interest in health professional education focuses on using activity theory.

Andreas Xyrichis

Dr Andreas Xyrichis is a Board Member of CAIPE, Steering Committee member of the King’s College London Centre for Team-based Practice & Learning in Health Care, and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Interprofessional Care. His work focuses on strengthening health service delivery and organisation worldwide through interprofessional education and team-based practice initiatives.

Hossein Khalili

Dr. Hossein Khalili is a world-renowned scholar, expert, and leader in the field of interprofessional education and collaborative practice (IPECP). He serves as the Director of UW Centre of Interprofessional Practice and Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, an Adjunct Research Professor at Western University, Canada, the Co-Founding Lead of Interprofessional Research. Global, a Member Interprofessional. Global Leadership Team, and a Board Member of Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC).
