1. The article has been amended to include additional references that were unintentionally left out of the original published manuscript.

2. Table 2 was missing the references for the health expenditure datapoint. These are now referenced in Table 2. The penultimate paragraph of the methods section of the manuscript was updated (with updates in italics here) to clarify that government expenditure on health includes expenditures falling under the umbrella of the Saudi Health Council, including but not limited to the Ministry of Health, medical services at the Ministry of Defence, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Interiors, university hospitals (Ministry of Education), King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (Riyadh & Jeddah), etc.
