Elisabeth Hanscombe
Elisabeth Hanscombe completed her doctorate in 2011 on the topic ‘Life writing and the desire for revenge’. She is a practising psychotherapist and psychologist, well equipped to explore the connections between her early life and later journey into her profession, which gives access to the experience of others in their efforts at self-understanding. Hanscombe has published numerous short stories and essays in autobiography, psychoanalysis, testimony, trauma, and creative non-fiction.
