As I sit down to assemble the contents of Volume 20 Issue 3, I am pleased to report that the 2016 Impact Factors has just been published by Thomson Reuters, Journal Citation Reports®. This gives Human Fertility an impact factor of 1.103 which is a significant increase above the figure for 2015. However, although this is clearly good news, as I have said previously, increasing the impact factor has never been the driving force behind the journal.
Behind the scenes at Human Fertility we have been making several structural changes to the workflow with the aim of speeding up the review process for authors. In addition, I’d like to thank the 230 individuals who have helped review the manuscripts submitted to the journal over the last year. In recognition, they are listed on the pages at the end of this issue and I would like to thank them unreservedly on behalf of the editorial board for their efforts.
