Alisson Ody received his master’s degree (Natural Resources and Sustainability) from the Federal University of Technology-Paraná, Brazil, and is a biologist interested in the effects of degraded habitats on small mammal populations.

Thomas Püttker received his PhD from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and is currently an assistant professor at the Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil. He is interested in the effects of anthropic land use on diversity patterns, especially in the distribution of animals in anthropic landscapes (on population and community levels). His recent projects focus on insects and other invertebrates.

Leonardo Biral

Leonardo Biral received his PhD from the São Paulo State University, Brazil. He is a professor at the Federal University of Technology-Paraná, Brazil, and is a botanist with expertise in the systematics and taxonomy of flowering plants.

Vagner Cavarzere

Vagner Cavarzere received his PhD from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and is currently a professor at São Paulo State University. He is an ornithologist with experience in the zoology and ecology of Neotropical birds, and is also interested in studying the diversity of Atlantic Forest vertebrate terrestrial fauna.
