Andrew Tomlinson

Andrew Tomlinson is Director of the Quaker UN Office (QUNO) in New York and Quaker United Nations Representative. He holds Master’s Degrees from the University of Cambridge and the University of Pennsylvania, where he specialised in South Asia and the Middle East. Andrew joined QUNO in 2008 after working in international finance and socially responsible investing in London and New York. The Quakers have been active at the United Nations in New York and Geneva since 1947, upholding the UN's work on peace and justice through facilitation and quiet advocacy. In June 2013, QUNO was named as one of the 100 most influential global actors in armed violence reduction.
