Abstract

Clinical guidelines are ever-evolving as more medical discoveries are made. The ease of access to clinical guidelines has improved since ECRI has made public and free their clinical guidelines repository: ECRI Guidelines Trust®. Finding guidelines is a disjointed process unless one discovers this repository. This review describes the repository, some key features of the website, and evaluates the utility of the resource for medical workers. The reviewer determines that this repository is user-friendly for clinical workers and medical librarians but has room for improvement in terms of the lack of presence of the unique limiters the site describes as assigned to various guidelines.
