Erratum
Review paper: Diethylene glycol poisoning, Leo J. Schep, Robin J. Slaughter, Wayne A. Temple, D. Michael G. Beasley, Volume 47, issue 6, pages 525–535.
The authors list the following errors in the print version of the above paper. The online version has been corrected accordingly. The publishers apologise for this error.
Page 527, in the first sentence (line 169) of the section titled Absorption where reference 56 appears – it should be 57. The references were incorrectly reordered following this reference.
All references from 56 onward to 72 are out by 1 in the sections on kinetics, mechanisms of toxicity, and toxicity of DEG. These sections presently contain numerous mistakes due to this renumbering. That is, references increased by 1: 56 should be 57 through to 71 should be 72.
Numbers below 56 in these sections are however correct.
The mistake fixes itself in page 530, column 2 paragraph 2 (line 394); the references list: 7, 28, 41, 50, 72, 73, 74 is changed from 7, 28, 41, 50, 56, 73, 74.
Fortunately due to another mistake (56 changed to 72 in this list) from that line on the refs are once again correct. This list should be changed back to 7, 28, 41, 50, 56, 73, 74.
One galley proof correction that was not made: Correction #10, line 219, reference should be 59.
The following reference needs to be added to the list: 100. Brent J. Current management of ethylene glycol poisoning. Drugs 2001; 61:979–988. This affects Line 642, page 532, reference 82 should be reference 100; Line 648, page 532, reference 82 should also be reference 100.
Reference error: line 616 reference 93, page 532, should be 92.
