When the article was first published, the second author, Patrice-Anthony C. Okoye, was incorrectly listed as being affiliated to both Nnamdi Azikiwe University and the University of Nigeria. Additionally, Section 2.5 (PAHs risk assessment) did not start correctly, and the text for Section 2.5 (including the equations) was repeated as Section 3.6 (ILCRs assessment), and the correct text for Section 3.6 only appeared under Table 3.
As a result, the following corrections have been made. Patrice-Anthony C. Okoye only has an affiliation marker to affiliation a, Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. In Section 2.5, the first sentence has been updated to read “The toxicity equivalent of PAHs was extrapolated using Equation (1) (Chen et al. 2015).” The note below Table 3 has been removed. Section 3.6 has been updated to read:
The calculated cancer risks exposures to PAHs are shown in Table 3. Generally, ILCR values between 1.0E-06 and above are assumed adequate, 1.0E-05 values are safe, but not recommendable, while a value of 1.0E-04 and above indicate potential risk (US EPA 2001). The cancer risk and risk index values indicated no risk exposure via both pathways for both age categories and locations.
