Abstract

Indolylpyranoquinolines and indolylcyclopentaquinolines were synthesized by triphenyl phosphonium perchlorate (TPP) catalyzed imino Diels–Alder reaction of indolylimines with 3,4‐dihydro‐2H‐pyran and cyclopentadiene, respectively.
