Abstract
La intervención profesional y la producción de conocimientos en contextos no tradicionales como los de las catástrofes, constituyen un área de vacancia y dramática actualidad. La investigación: “Los cambios en hábitos y rutinas de personas afectadas por la catástrofe hídrica”, y el Proyecto de Extensión e Interés Social: “Juegotecas para niños de barrios inundados”, fueron desarrolladas por terapeutas ocupacionales, docentes-investigadores de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Los aportes de la Ciencia de la Ocupación, en particular el Marco de Justicia Ocupacional, el Modelo de la Ocupación Humana y el enfoque de los derechos humanos, sustentaron estas prácticas. La investigación cualitativa, el trabajo en redes y en interdisciplina, permitieron captar la perspectiva y necesidades de los afectados directos, movilizaron recursos institucionales, sectoriales y disciplinares, generando conocimientos relacionados al impacto ocupacional de las catástrofes e insumos para la elaboración de políticas, planes y proyectos de prevención y rehabilitación ante catástrofes.
Professional intervention and the production of knowledge in non-traditional contexts such as catastrophes, represent areas of voidness and dramatic relevance at present. The research: ‘Changes in habits and routines of people affected by the flood catastrophe’ and the Scope and Social Interest Project: ‘Playgrounds for children in flooded neighborhoods’, were developed by occupational therapists, who are educators-researchers at Universidad Nacional del Litoral. The contribution of Occupational Science, in particular the Occupational Justice framework, the Model of Human Occupation and the focus on human rights, supported these practices. Qualitative research, networking and interdisciplinary work, made it possible to capture the perspective and needs of those directly affected, and mobilized institutional, sector and disciplinary resources, generating knowledge related to the occupational impact of catastrophes, and providing material to formulate policies, plans and projects for prevention and rehabilitation in the occurrence of catastrophes.
