In the Review by Pushpjeet Kanwar and Kris V Kowdley, ‘Diagnosis and treatment of hereditary hemochromatosis: an update’, which appeared in the August 2013 issue of Expert Review of Gastroenterology & Hepatology (7[6], 517–530 [2013]; www.expert-reviews.com/doi/full/10.1586/17474124.2013.816114), it has been brought to our attention that the following inaccuracy appeared in the Abstract:
“An elevated SF <1000 µg/l is associated with an increased risk of cirrhosis and mortality in C282Y homozygotes.”
It should have appeared as:
“An elevated SF >1000 µg/l is associated with an increased risk of cirrhosis and mortality in C282Y homozygotes.”
