Abstract
A 26-year-old male presented with a mild confusion and hemianopsia after traumatic brain injury. Cerebral CT-scan revealed a 62.5 cm3 left occipital extradural haematoma (EDH). Although conventional neurosurgical management would have been to evacuate the haematoma, a conservative strategy was preferred, and the patient made a total recovery.
