This article discusses a breath-taking new hypothesis that the 355 CAMVpromoter may be able to activate and enhance reverse transcription of integrated HIV genome in human cells. Surely, the authors extrapolate from plant experiments to human cells. The easiest way would have been to reject this short article. But, taking a glance in the historical mirror, there are many hypotheses that later were shown to reflect the truth or part of the truth. Therefore, I let it pass and welcome all types of remarks.
