Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this review is to comprehensively explain the differential diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis-associated uveitis.
Methods: Web-based literature review.
Results: Main diagnostic decisions are made through a thorough anterior segment exam and a comprehensive exploration of past medical and family history.
Conclusions: High clinical suspicion of other uveitic entities occurring in children is necessary and must be excluded by the practitioner before immediate diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis is made.
