April 18 – 22
AACR Annual Meeting - Pennsylvania Convention Center
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
The AACR Annual Meeting 2015 will highlight the latest, most exciting discoveries in every area of cancer research and will provide a unique opportunity for investigators from all over the world to meet, interact, and share their insights. This year's meeting theme – “Bringing Cancer Discoveries to Patients” – underscores the vital and inextricable link between discovery and treatment, and it reinforces the fact that research underpins all the progress we are making in the field toward cancer cures. For everyone – presenters, early-career and established researchers, clinicians, and advocates – the Annual Meeting is a must-attend event. We are developing a comprehensive and multidisciplinary program, with an outstanding roster of speakers, hundreds of invited talks, and more than 6,000 proffered papers from researchers all over the world.

ConRad 2015 - Global Conference on Radiation, Munich, Germany.
Topics, Preparedness, Response, Protection and Research
Bundeswehr Institute of Radiobiology affiliated to the University of Ulm
Munich, Germany
This conference will be hosted by the Bundeswehr Institute of Radiobiology affiliated to the University of Ulm. The gain of combining radiation epidemiology with molecular biology for health effect assessments and the improved radiation accident management reached by close international networking as well as cooperations among institutions will be the key topics. Further aspects of the conference comprise new insights in radiation accident preparedness and management as well as new research findings in radiation epidemiology, medicine, biology, physics and radiation protection. The conference offers the particular opportunity to bring together a broad spectrum of German and international experts, civilian and military, as a forum for professional and multidisciplinary exchange of experience and expertise in this particular domain. Special attendance is attached to the fact that these aspects will be presented in a comprehensive form for a broader audience thus facilitating the idea of continuous education.
The conference will be accompanied by an industrial exhibition arranged by the German Society for Military Medicine and Pharmacy (GSMMP/DGWMO). There, companies will present their technologies, products and latest developments as well as their service in the field of radiation protection and laboratory equipment for radiation research.

Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cancer deaths worldwide are projected to continue to rise to more than 11 million in 2030. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2014 1.67 million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed. Nearly two-thirds of these patients will receive radiation therapy during their illness – most with the intent to cure the cancer. Advances in the applications, technologies and methodologies of radiation oncology continue to evolve rapidly and the delivery of radiation therapy has become more complex, making it imperative that the radiation oncology professional remain current in the state-of-the-art techniques. The American Society for Radiation Oncology is committed to providing educational programming that creates a forum for global collaboration on issues in radiation oncology to improve professional practice by increasing their level of knowledge, as required to improve competency and performance in the field of oncology.
