* The authors use data from medical records of hospitalized patients aged ≥60 to identify the prevalent nursing diagnoses without following a standardized classification. They found that the four prevalent nursing diagnoses amongst the prescribed 62 were aiding bed bath, communicating diet acceptance, implementing routines of care in venous puncture and checking respiratory patter.
