THE AUTHORS

Ron Roizen, Ph.D., sociologist, has been engaged in alcohol-related research since the early 1970s. Roizen currently telecommutes to a research post in Kaye Middleton Fillmore's group at the Institute for Scientific Analysis. Roizen is also a contributing editor to Points, the blog of the Alcohol and Drugs History Society and a sometime contributor to Referee Magazine, where he draws for inspiration upon his experience as a (now retired) high school (U.S.) football official.
