Journal overview

Editorial board
Critical Insights in Climate Change is a selective, Open Access, interdisciplinary journal that publishes quality, forward-thinking, impactful scientific research on climate change.

The journal spans the physical, biogeochemical and environmental sciences, and embraces an improved understanding of the relationship between climate change and human activity.

The scope of the journal includes:
• Understanding the dynamics of the climate system
• Past, present and future climatic change
• Connections and feedbacks between climate change and the wider Earth System
• The impacts of climatic disruption on nature and society
• Climate change adaptation and mitigation
• Technological and nature-based solutions to climate change

The journal is particularly interested in receiving articles concerned with poorly understood aspects of climate change, and the complexity of wider Earth system responses to/interactions with changing climate. Articles that contain a theoretical framework (including feedbacks, critical transitions, tipping points, resistance-resilience etc) are particularly welcome. The journal embraces all the relevant methods of climate science (e.g. field-based, laboratory-based, analytical, numerical and modelling approaches).
