About this journal

Aims and scope

Case Reports in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery is an open access journal for case reports in plastic surgery, hand surgery and related research. The journal is published on behalf of the non-for-profit Acta Chirurgica Scandinavica Society.

The journal aims to bring new trends and observations to the scientific community so that it can further promote current work and research.

Subjects of interest to the journal are plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, including cranio-maxillofacial surgery, cleft lip surgery, palate surgery and hand surgery concerning:

  • Original operative methods
  • Newly discovered syndromes
  • Rare complications

Case Reports in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery publishes case reports and case series.

All submitted manuscripts will be double anonymized peer reviewed, and extended collections of case reports and series may be published as supplements, dealing with special topics such as microvascular surgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery or burns.
