About this journal

Aims and scope

Future Science OA is an online, open access, peer-reviewed title. The journal covers research and discussion related to advances in biotechnology, medicine and health.

The journal embraces the importance of publishing all good-quality research with the potential to further the progress of research in these fields. All original research articles will be considered that are within the journal's scope, and have been conducted with scientific rigour and research integrity. The journal also features review articles, editorials and perspectives, providing readers with a leading source of commentary and analysis.

Submissions of the following article types will be considered:

Future Science OA
provides readers with rigorous publication standards and article production quality, with all articles subject to review by a minimum of three independent experts. The journal follows a gold open access model, publishing all articles under the Creative Commons CC-BY license to allow maximum dissemination. Authors are required to comply fully with the journal's Disclosure & Conflict of Interest Policy as well as major publishing guidelines, including ICMJE and GPP3. The journal is also a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

 Articles published in Future Science OA include both unsolicited submissions and articles commissioned by the Editor in collaboration with the Editorial Advisory Board.
