Abstract

We, the Editor and Publisher of World’s Poultry Science Journal, have retracted the following article:

S. Umar, A.T. Maiyah & A. Mushtaq ‘Campylobacter infections in poultry: update on challenges and potential immune interventions’ (2016) 72:2, 381-390 https://doi.org/10.1017/S0043933916000167

The above article has been retracted as, subsequent to publication, a significant duplication has been found in content throughout the article with the following earlier published article:

Orhan Sahin, Issmat I. Kassem, Zhangqi Shen, Jun Lin, Gireesh Rajashekara & Qijing Zhang, ‘Campylobacter in Poultry: Ecology and Potential Interventions’, Avian Diseases, (2015) 59:2. DOI 10.1637/11072-032315-Review

We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
