This communication is dedicated to the presentation of the results of a numerical experience that aims to evaluate the hydrological answer of a simulated precipitation event. The case of study is a quasi-stationary system over the région of Cévennes - Vivarais where the recorded precipitation is above 100 mm in less than 4 hours. The results of the simulations performed with the model MESO-NH are realistic under detailed initialization procédure. The stimulated rain fields are then used to force the hydrological model TOPMODEL in order to eva1uate the flow charge answer of the simulated precipitation. The results are compared against flow charge observation for two watersheds.
