Abstract
The note deals with the problem of finding which combinations of classes and how many times each combination will occur in a given week to meet requirements on the number of times each class has to occur throughout the week. A known approach is used, which involves column generation methods and the solution of certain 0-1 subproblems arising from duality considerations and the paper examines further the solution of the 0-1 subproblem generated.
