Seven Faces of Research

Abstract

Discussions and research in the field of management often centre on its purpose, on the attitudes of research workers and on the methodologies employed. Seven archetypes of research workers will be reviewed: the chronicler, the dialectician, the puzzle-solver, the empiricist, the classifier, the iconoclast, and the change-agent.
