An unusual cause of anisocoria – the antipodes of ocular autonomic dysfunction

Abstract

A 44-year-old woman presented with anisocoria, ptosis OD, and right-sided headache and neck pain. She was found to have Horner’s syndrome OD, Adie’s syndrome OS, and fibromuscular dysplasia. The diagnostic pitfalls associated with bilaterally abnormal pupils and carotidynia are explored.
