Abstract

Quadruple sectoranopia (QSA) has been attributed to anterior choroidal artery infarction affecting the lateral geniculate body. We report a case of QSA caused by posterior cerebral artery infarction in a patient having migraine without aura and suggest that QSA is not always diagnostic of a lesion in the lateral geniculate body in the territory of anterior choroidal artery.
