Abstract
Seven quinolizidine alkaloids were isolated from the roots, stems, leaves, flowers, pods and seeds of Gonocytisus pterocladus and identified using thin-layer chromatography (TLC), melting points and spectroscopic methods (IR, 1 H NMR and MS) as lupanine, rhombifoline, anagyrine, N -methylcytisine, cytisine, N -formylcytisine and 13-a-cis-cinnamoyloxylupanine.
