Abstract
From the seeds of Dendrocalamus strictus, two new triterpenoids, 1ß,2a,3ß,24-tetrahydroxy-16ß- O -acetylolean-12-ene-24- O -ß-D-glucopyranoside and 16ß- O -acetylolean-12-ene-28-oic acid 28- O -a-{L-rhamnopyranosyl (1?3)}-ß-D-arabinopyranoside have been isolated and their structures established on the basis of spectral and chemical studies.
