Abstract

The RAM Model is recommended by the U.S. EPA for evaluating the impact of multi-source complexes on air quality over short term periods. There are both urban and rural versions of this model. A number of comparison studies of highest predicted and measured concentrations with this model have been conducted. This paper reviews the performance of this model in six reported studies, and discusses possible reasons for this performance.
