Atmospheric Determination of Tolylene Di-isocyanates

Pages 228-230 | Published online: 27 Dec 2007

Abstract

The methods available for the atmospheric determination of tolylene di-isocyanates work satisfactorily at room temperature. When air samples are collected on operations producing vapors of tolylene di-isocyanate along with those of other organic compounds at temperatures around 400°F., interferences in these methods were noted. The following procedure was devised in order to avoid these interferences.
