The organization and operation of a multi-plant occupational health program is described. The program is designed to meet the needs of industrial plants with 1000 or fewer employees. Industrial medicine, health education, and industrial hygiene are coordinated as the basic phases in this approach to the solution of a health program for the small plant. The procedures are described for developing, incorporating and operating the program, including figures on costs for such programs in 30 plants.
