Contributions of Electron Microscopy to Occupational Health

Abstract

The use of the electron microscope is becoming more widespread in laboratories throughout the world, including those serving the various disciplines of environmental health. As a result, practicing industrial hygienists may have opportunities to use the instrument. This paper points out some of the areas in which the electron microscope has been employed in the solution of problems in the field of occupational health.
