Standardization of Chemical Methods in Air Sampling

Abstract

This paper presents a brief discussion of the separate and combined efforts over the past 25 years of six professional organizations in the United States leading toward standardization of methods of analysis for atmospheric samples. The author then discusses, in greater detail, the modus operandi, the accomplishments, and his concept of the future program of the Committee on Recommended Analytical Methods of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists.
