Abstract

The density of ferric oxide particles produced by a spinning disc generator was measured with a Timbrell aerosol spectrometer, a Millikan oil drop apparatus, and a Thomas gravity settling tube. Using the Timbrell and Millikan equipment, the density was found to be 2.56 gm/cm3.
