An Evaluation of Perchloroethylene Detector Tubes

Pages 847-849 | Published online: 04 Jun 2010

Abstract

Detector tubes from all manufacturers which market tubes in the United States for the detection of perchloroethylene were evaluated for acceptable performance, provided that the tubes were intended for use in the concentration range of one-half to four times the threshold limit value (TLV). Only those tube types meeting the accuracy and precision criteria set for the evaluation are shown in the evaluation list. Those tube types not listed did not meet the evaluation criteria for acceptable performance.
