Abstract

Strategies to control emissions were investigated to develop a plan to meet secondary ambient particulate standards in Metropolitan Boston. Each strategy was evaluated for emission reduction potential, cost, and feasibility. The strategy selected by the State, a periodic inspection and maintenance plan for combustion sources, meets the goal of dean air at minimum cost.
