Abstract

The Vacu-Samplertm, a partially evacuated steel cylinder, has been widely used as a diagnostic industrial hygiene sampling system. This study examines the rational behind the Vacu-Sampler and two simple, quantitative procedures that can be used to obtain accurate sample results in ppm with gas chromatographic analysis.
