Abstract
A system for producing test atmospheres of carcinogenic aromatic amines is discussed. The aerosol generator, a specially designed compressed-gas nebulizer, operated at a temperature above each compound's melting point utilizing nitrogen as the driving force. The nebulizer output and size distributions of aerosols of 4,4′-methylenebis(2-chloroaniline) (MOCA), benzidine, and 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine are given.
