JACK S. CALCUT received his B.S. from Michigan State University in 1999 and his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2004. He then spent three years as a postdoctoral instructor at the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, he is enjoying a postdoc back at his alma mater MSU. Jack is a topologist by trade with an affinity for π.
