A Napoleonic Theorem for Trapezoids

Pages 367-369 | Received 22 Mar 2018, Accepted 05 Sep 2018, Published online: 22 Apr 2019

Abstract

Napoleon’s theorem states that if you erect equilateral triangles on the sides of an arbitrary triangle, the centers of those three equilateral triangles will form an equilateral triangle, too. In this note I state and prove a similar theorem for trapezoids.
