Abstract

Method validation is one of the most important requirements of capillary electrophoretic (CE) methodologies. In spite of the advanced CE equipment available, this technique is still suffering with the problem of reproducibility due to certain nonconstant operational parameters. This article discusses the factors and reasons for nonreproducibility in CE methodologies, which include buffers, capillary, modes of injections, and applied voltage. Suggestions have also been presented to achieve maximum reproducibility in capillary electrophoresis experiments.
