Abstract

A unique detector for a specific ionic drug has been fabricated. This sensor has been used to quantitatively determine naproxen in either tablet or capsule form. Detector sensitivity for naproxinate ion was ≤ 10−5 M. with very good selectivity in the presence of most inorganic ions. Assay times were short and appeared amenable to automation.
