Behaviour and Analytical Use of Lead Dioxide Electrodes Under Pulse Treatment

Pages 163-173 | Received 26 Sep 1980, Accepted 06 Jan 1981, Published online: 24 Feb 2007

Abstract

Rotating lead dioxide electrode on titanium support is used as an amperometric working electrode in complexometric titration. Application of special pulse techniques gives information about processes during oxidation of free EDTA. Electrode surface can be renewed by pulse treatment. Differential pulse amperometry of EDTA was found to be a highly sensitive indication method.
