Abstract

A thick-film metallized platinum electrode operated in the voltammetric mode is used to determine the cholinesterase activity in human serum and erythocytes. Inhibitors of the enzyme can also be quanitified by the electrode with cholinesterase either immobilized directly on the electrode surface or dissolved in the test medium.
