Abstract

The interactions of lysozyme with three panaxadiol glycosides (Rd, Rg3, Rh2) were investigated using intensity-fading – matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization – mass spectrometry (IF-MALDI-MS). The results showed that the noncovalent interactions of lysozyme with panaxadiol glycosides were recognized by IF-MALDI-MS. The affinities of three glycosides toward lysozyme were assessed. This strategy provides a rapid and sensitive approach to investigate the interactions of lysozyme with glycosides by IF-MALDI-MS that provides the insights of mechanisms of glycosides and also extends its application.
