Abstract

Reversed phase thin layer chromatographic behavior of metal ions of the first transition series has been investigated on silica gel plates coated with different high molecular weight amines using citric acid as eluant. The effect of type of amine and concentration of amine and citric acid on hRf values has been studied. Some binary and ternary separations of topical interest were achieved using 3.0% Primene JM-T and 0.030 M citric acid.
