Abstract

A fluorometric method of Sm-diphacinone (DPN)-TOPO-surfactant complex for determining diphacinone in serum and urine was proposed. This method is rapid, simple, sensitive in determining diphacinone in aqueous medium. 1.0×10−6 − 1.5×10−5 M of diphacinone in samples can be determined by the proposed procedure.

The detection limit is 1.0x10−7 M (36ng/mL). The percentage of recovery was satisfactory.
